The Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication is designed to help students develop skills in oral, written and interpersonal communication, as well as critical thinking and problem solving. The program provides students with thorough knowledge and skills to communicate their ideas effectively and understand the businesses within which they work. In addition to required communication courses, students will choose courses in one of three specialization areas: human resources, public relations or project management.
All candidates for any baccalaureate degree, including the Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication, must fulfill general education requirements for graduation from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
Career Opportunities
Wesleyan Advantage organizational communications majors may pursue a variety of careers, including marketing, public relations, human resources, event planning, promotion, sales, training, management, fundraising, and consulting.
