| The Bachelor of Science in Social Work prepares you to serve in a wide range of professional fields. Through a combination of field work, classroom and independent study, social work majors gain understanding of how individuals, families, communities and organizations impact each other and how they can work together to achieve their goals. General education requirements for graduation from Nebraska Wesleyan University must be fulfilled by all candidates for any baccalaureate degree, including the Bachelor of Science in Social Work. The Social Work program at Nebraska Wesleyan University complies with the standards of and is fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
Format
The Social Work program consists of a blended schedule including:
- 5-week courses held one night per week
- 8-week courses held one night per week
- traditional, semester-long courses
